1. Bettinger Park Basketball Courts Marker
Inscription. DJ Bettinger grew up playing basketball on the courts of Lakeside. He went on to become All Conference, All District and All Ohio in high school, before accepting a basketball scholarship at Indiana Wesleyan University. He was a three year starter and four year letter winner for the Wildcats, along with being team captain his junior and senior years. As a junior in 2014, Indiana Wesleyan University captured the NAIA National Basketball Championship. In his three years as a starter, the Wildcats won 90 games against only 16 losses. A prolific three point shooter, DJ made 225 three point field goals in his college career with a three point shooting percentage over 45%
