Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple
This huge bell was contributed by Mr. Yehan Numata of Tokyo, Japan, the president of the Buddhist Promoting Foundation. It is Mr. Numata's sincere desire to share the blessings and teachings of Buddha with all mankind.
In commemoration of this 75th anniversary of the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, this bell tower is dedicated by the efforts of all the members and their friends, October 14, 1979.
