1. Railroad Depot Marker
Inscription. Brick freight depot completed in 1923 by Erie Railroad. Replaced wood depot burned in 1920. Sold by Conrail 1987 & opened as museum 2003.

This is the prior Erie Depot as stated on the marker. It was about two blocks north and one east of the current brick depot. Note the boxcar and Amusements sign. The latter is the Herschell Carrousel Factory, now a museum.
