Inscription.  
In memorial to the 12th Reserve Battalion (98th and 176th) and the 35th Reserve Battalion (81st) who fought at Vimy Ridge in 1917. Now perpetuated by the Lincoln and Welland Regiment of St. Catharines. Their efforts brought about the coming of age of this Nation. Let us always honour and remember their service and sacrifice.
