Mothman
Our most notorious forest legend, Mothman has been known as a harbinger of destruction since "sightings" of him preceded the 1967 collapse of the Silver Bridge between Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Gallipolis, Ohio.
These days, the spookiest bug sightings in our woods are invasive species, like the spongy moth, hemlock woolly adelgid, and spotted lanternfly. By not moving firewood and detecting these species early, we can keep these bad bugs out of our woods and save our trees!
