1. Congregational Church Marker

Inscription. This Gothic Revival structure was built in 1877 to replace an earlier frame chapel. Reverend Joseph Unsworth a minister here for 26 years was active in the Mechanic's Institute, the precursor of the Public Library. The building was given to the town in 1912 for use as a library. In 1982 additions were carried out to create a town cultural centre.

Erected 1979 by Heritage Halton Hills.
