1. EA-6B “Prowler” Marker

Inscription. The Northrop Grumman EA-6B “Prowler” is an electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder airframe. The EA-6B began its service in 1971, and remains in service today. The Prowler conducts many critical missions including: jamming enemy radar systems and suppression of enemy air defense systems using tactical jamming equipment and the High-speed Anti-radiation Missile (HARM).

Upon the 1998 retirement of the U.S. Air Force EF-111 Raven, the EA-6B was the only dedicated electronic warfare plane available for missions by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force until the fielding of the Navy's EA-18G Growler in 2009.
