This plaque is erected in honor of and dedicated to all those who have come before and whose courage and wisdom formed and built our town and to the everlasting benefits of those present and even more to those who will come hereafter upon whom depends the preservation of our friendly community.

Sesquicentennial celebration was held in July 1977
