1. Friendship Walk Marker

Inscription. The Edison family created the Friendship Walk as a way to pay tribute to their friends and relatives. A total of 50 stones comprise the Walk, though some have been removed for conservation over time.

The stones given to the family include nationally known figures like the Firestones and the Mercks, as well as locally influential families like the Hendrys and the Davises.
The Friendship Walk was inspired by the Walk of Fame at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where Thomas Edison received an honorary degree.
