In Loving Memory
Albert Okura
December 3, 1951 - January 27, 2023

"I believe I have a ‘Destiny’ in life. This belief has been there ever since I can remember"

In 1998, Albert purchased this property, the site of the Original McDonald's, and established the museum to commemorate McDonald's earliest history. Growing up during the booming fast-food industry in the 1950s and 60s, Albert viewed Ray Kroc as one of his biggest influences in modeling his own restaurant chain, Juan Pollo, to which he founded in 1984. This museum will continue to honor his life and legacy, to which he believed was his destiny to sell more chicken than anyone in the world.
