In this house in the Centro Storico, Vasco Pratolini was born on October 19, 1913, who, in telling an Italian story, drew perennial nourishment from his love for his hometown, Florence.

Dedicated by the City of Florence on the fifth anniversary of his death, January 12, 1996.
