Regarding Deane S. Van Dyke Jr.. Private First Class served with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Army Vietnam. He was critically wounded in the Battle of Xa Cam My on April 11, 1966 and succumbed to his injuries on April 28, 1966.
