The Long House

The Long House was built in 1833 by Phillip Graham Long and his wife Isabella Murphy Long. Isabella was the granddaughter of Sarah Barton Murphy, whose family settled this community in 1798. As the number of children grew to twelve, three additions and a kitchen were added to the original log structure.
