1. Albian Freeh Log House Marker
Inscription.
This original log house last stood at the east end of Walnut Street here in Fremont. It had been built c. 1854-1861 by or for Albian Freeh, (great grandfather of Robert Etzel of Pine Street Fremont).

It was donated to the Agricultural Society in memory of Mrs. Charles R. (Elfreda) Hirt, by her son and daughters; Richard Hirt, Jean Smith And Dorothy Claus.

Reconstructed on this site in 1982 by Wayne D. Smith with the help and donations of friends and members of the society and fair board.

May it be preserved and enjoyed by future generations.
