Inscription. Dedicated to those who served with the 99th Bombardment Group (H) during WWII they flew 395 combat missions in B-17s from 31 March, 1943, to 26 April, 1945. They were awarded two distinguished unit citations while stationed in Africa and Italy.

Erected 1986 by 99th Bombardment Group Historical Society.
