1. Depot Marker

Inscription. Built in 1880, the depot is small because Osier handled very little freight and passenger business. Nevertheless, the agent issued all-important train orders and processed message traffic each day of the year. Furnishing included a telegraph desk, document racks and storage, a stove for heating, a safe for cash, and account books. The agent and his family lived nearby in one or more rooms at the section House.

In the 1970s, the depot was converted to a restroom for lunch-time patrons. Friends of the C&TSRR volunteers restored the building to its original configuration between 1995-2001. They keep it in good condition. The building has an earthen foundation, wood frame walls and roof, and wood shingles.
