Inscription.  

Igreja edificada no século XVI em estilo maneirista. Pertencia ao Colégio da Companhia de Jesus e o frontal ostenta o seu emblema. Depois da expulsão dos Jesuítas foi vendido aos Agostinhos Descalços, conhecidos por Frades Grilos, que aqui permanceceram até 1832. No interior destacam-se o retábulo de Nossa Senhora da Purificação, em talha dourada, e um belo painel em estilo neoclássico.

This Church was built by the jesuits in the sixteenth century in a mannerist style. In the interior there is a curious reredos of Our Lady of Purification in carved wood and gilt and a neoclassic panel. (Marker Number 3.)
