Inscription.
This park is dedicated to the men and women
of the county who served their country in time
of war; it replaces six miles of memorial elms
which were relinquished for this highway.

The trees were planted by the American
Legion Auxiliary of Beaver Dam under
the leadership of Miss Sadie Davison.
