1. McClanahan Bridge Plaque Marker
This plaque came from the "McClanahan Bridge", 3 miles north of the Twin Churches, across Beck's Creek, between Carson and Bowling Green Twps. The bridge was built about 1890-1900 and served well until replaced by "Chink" Rout and dick Jackson, who were road commissioners in the 1950's.
(The sign was acquired by Dean Chandler from the Sam Garver estate and donated to us. Some of the names are familiar names in the community. Some are lost and unknown.)
