1. Waterloo Woolen Mill Marker
Inscription. This wheel, or pulley, turned on the same shaft as did the water wheel which was the source of power for the factory. Various flat leather belts ran to other smaller pulleys throughout the factory which did what electricity does now, making the plant operate. For the looms and other equipment these were the electric motors of that era.
