2. Chenocetah Memorial Tower Marker
A classic design built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1936 for the Chattahoochee National Forest, Chenocetah Mountain Lookout, is a 40 high stone tower with a 14 x 14 wood cab covered by a 15 high peaked slate roof which curves out slightly at the eaves.(Submitted on September 10, 2025, by Tracy Andersen Roberts of Atlanta, Georgia.)
