Hawkwood Mansion Windmill
On the ground here are the remains of the windmill (pictured) that, in the early 1900s, provided the power to pump water from the man-made pond on your left to the house which stood behind you. Because of this system, the house was the first one in Ballston to have indoor plumbing.
