The D S & U erected a two-story brick passenger and substation in Urbana, Ohio, that later served as a freight and passenger station. This view, looking north on Main Street, shows a freight motor pulling away from the little depot, a block south of the public square, some time in the year 1920. --Ε. Μ. Neff collection

Rare photo of D S & U Number 51, a Barney and Smith open car, at the entrance to the Urbana Camp Grounds, most likely in the summer of 1902. Service terminated on this branch in the summer of 1904 after many of the buildings were destroyed by fire. -Dr. Charles Evans collection

The above views show the Esplanade and Fountain Square in Springfield. This was the site of the D S & U ticket office. The top view reveals cars in the left as a Grove City Laconia, on loan, and a 62 - foot Columbus, London & Springfield loading for a return run to Columbus. Cars on the right are D S & U Barneys. The single truck car on the left is a Springfield Railway trolley car. The bottom view shows the Arcade station. The curvature at the south end of the loop was too sharp for the big Barney's to negotiate. Later, the station facilities were moved to North Fountain and Columbia Streets -Eldon M. Neff Collection
