Regarding Fralick’s Tavern 1836. Fralick's Tavern is also known as the Battle Ground Hotel; the Battleground Hotel; and currently, the Battle Ground Hotel Museum. This building is on and adjacent to the battlefield of the Battle of Lundy's Lane; and also on the busy road, Lundy's Lane. In addition to this tavern, Adam Fralick built one of many battlefield observation towers. For a while in the mid 1800s, this battlefield was a significant tourist destination; many veterans were employed as tour guides. The building is now a museum, open in the summer and for occasional tours.
