Regarding Mitchell Cottage 1805. Mitchell Cottage is also known as Stamford Cottage. The cabin was built by the Stamford Presbyterian Church, along with similar houses which were provided (sold?) to early settlers. John Hawkins owned the property during 1837 and 1853, and did major renovations.
