Regarding Cross Keys Hotel. The building, originally used as a cattle and grain weigh station, was also a stagecoach rest stop primarily for those heading from Pittsburgh to New Kensington. It also housed a small speakeasy during the prohibition era. It was designated a Pittsburgh Historic Landmark in 1973.
