1. John D. Jenkins Marker
Inscription. John D. Jenkins has led a life of service, from Alabama where he was born through his service in the Army to Dale City, VA, the place he's called home since 1973. A decorated veteran, he served many years with Fairfax County Schools. John has been on the Prince William County Board of Supervisors for 34 years, the longest serving member. His dedicated service including work with various planning/transportation commissions and boards is matched by his love of family, his faith, and his tireless work for all aspects of Dale City and Prince William County, be it youth, civic or veteran's groups, John D. Jenkins epitomizes community mindedness and service.
