1. Lititz Springs National Bank Marker

Inscription. This building is the original site of the Lititz Springs National Bank, which opened for business on March 22, 1924. Designed by renowned Lancaster architect, C. Emlen Urban, and built by D.S. Warfel, the building took two years to complete and is one of three banks originally chartered in Lititz. On its first day of business, Lititz youth Richard Snyder arose at 6 a.m. to make the first customer deposit at the bank.

Since it's opening, the building has housed several financial institutions, including Conestoga National Bank of Lancaster, Mellon Bank, Citizens Bank and now, Ephrata National Bank. In 2024, the building celebrated it's 100th birthday, marking the historical significance this structure holds in the community.
