1. The First Delivery Marker
Inscription. This mural depicts the trip made by G.H. Thomas, the first farmer to reach Pet Milk's Greeneville plant on its opening day of operation with a load of fresh milk. Thomas journeyed from the College Farm on Route 5. The Pet Milk Company operated the local plant for around 60 years. It provided a place for hundreds of local farms to sell their products and helped Greene County become one of the leading dairy areas in the state.
