Regarding Hilliard Towers Apartments. Chicago-born archtiect Bertrand Goldberg is best known for the Marina Towers complex in downtown Chicago, with its famed twin "corncob" towers that overlook the Chicago River. Two of his other notable works, however, bear a strong resemblance to this Chicago Housing Authority apartment complex on the city's south side: the old Prentice Women's Hospital (torn down in 2013) and the River City complex.
