1. Meredith Building Marker

Inscription. This building replaced a feed store and livery of the 1880s, but was storing “junk” according to records of 1921. Since horse and carriage days had passed by the time of this construction, Frank and Emelia Meredith constructed this for an auto repair business. Walton Brown Electric Company occupied it in the 1940s and 1950s.
