Dedicated 4 July 1976
In commemoration of the units of the Army that have been stationed at Fort Leavenworth and in honor of the soldiers who served in them.
Conceived by Santa Fe Trail Chapter, The Retired Officers Association, and made possible by the contributions of the organizations and individuals whose names are inscribed on the Scroll of Honor maintained at the Fort Leavenworth Museum [now the Frontier Army Museum].
