1. Jan and Dave Roasa Marker
Dave and Jan Roasa epitomize community service. Both are active members in the Grove City Rotary Club, having served as club president, board member, and each have received the club's "Rotarian of the Year Award". Jan and Dave also volunteer for Disaster Aid USA, responding to natural disasters nationwide. Dave leads and trains disaster relief cleanup teams, and Jan also assists with cleanup but lends her skills with cooking for survivors and emotional support. Both volunteer with bed brigade delivering beds to children in need. Both are members of BPOE Elks #37. Dave, a retired IT director from Nationwide, and Jan, a retired nurse from the James Hospital where she earned their prestigious "Clinical Excellence Award". They began their service with Grove City Kids Association. Dave, as football and Jan, as cheerleading commissioners. Dave served on the G.C. Park Board for nearly a decade. Dave is a guardian on "Honor Flights" for veterans, while Jan supports Pelotonia and was a Grove City YMCA board member. Throughout it all, family remains paramount. Dave and Jan embody selflessness and compassion, their dedication will have a lasting impact on the city they call home.br>
