1. New Breyman Block Marker
Inscription. This Commercial-style structure was part of the Breyman family’s “White Corner Building,” replacing four wood-frame buildings. Typical in Salem’s downtown, the lower-level storefront has changed over time, with the original architectural features remaining on the second story. Over the years, retail furniture businesses have occupied this site, with Buren & Hamilton Store being the first.
