A bronze memorial tablet is to be erected by popular subscription in honor of Lieutenant Frank Plant McCreery, member of a well-known Long Island family, who was killed by a fall from an airplane while on duty. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McCreery, formerly lived in Flushing and the family was long prominent there.
