the American Association of Advertising Agencies
in a joint conference here in the Homestead Hotel
November 14, 1941
established an organization
the Advertising Council
dedicated to using the power of advertising
in the public interest
encouraging individual effort
to affect change for the good of the nation.
Commemorating the fiftieth anniversary
of this event.
