Brooklyn Heights in Kings County, New York — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
Mott Bedell House
This three storied Flemish bond brick front house was built in 1840 for Mott Bedell, a ship's chandler with offices on Wall Street.
Of interest is the Greek revival pilastered brownstone doorway, unusual six over nine-paned windows, corniced labels, and the elaborate anthemion decor on the iron fence.
