1. Cheshire Hall Marker
Inscription.
This Italianate-style building was built by William W. Cheshire in 1873. Originally, there were storefronts on the street level with an all-purpose room on the second floor. The Masonic Lodge had a meeting room, as did the Odd Fellows. It was used as a community hall, opera house and banquet hall by the community, churches and private businesses.

Cheshire Hall was renamed as Central Music Hall in 1890. Cheshire Hall/Central Music Hall served Crown Point in numerous ways providing a meeting and educational space. It transitioned to business space in the mid-1900s, with businesses occupying the space currently.
