1. Warren C. Butts House Marker
Inscription. This brick house (on the left) was built by Warren C. Butts as an advertisement for his brick and cement business. The original home, with an addition and modifications, is still visible both inside and outside. Mr. Butts also built an unusual house (on the right), known as "the windmill house" or the "tower house." It was a unique, three story house with a windmill on the fourth floor with a well underneath the first floor. This house was demolished in the 1930s.
