Inscription.
Designed by renowned architect Paul Revere Williams, this former post office building was crafted in the Italian Renaissance Revival style with Spanish Colonial and Mission Revival style influences. The subtle details that await discovery include decorative tile at the building base, wrought iron grillwork, quatrefoil on the gable end, and wood beams on the ceiling. Charles Latimer, proprietor of the San Antonio Orchard Company, leased the building to the U.S. Postal Service until 1941.
