Bethel Congregational Church
536 North Euclid Avenue
| | 1912 | |
Inscription.
Constructed in 1912, this church building is one of Ontario's best examples of Gothic Revival architecture. The church is constructed of split stone and features numerous arched lancet stained glass windows. The stately corner tower with an arched lancet doorway provides the main entrance. The Harwood stained glass windows were transplanted from the original church on Holt Boulevard and Palm Avenue. The interior of the church features oak pews, paneling, and stair rails, along with a 1930 Pilcher organ. The Chaffey family was among the church's founding members in 1885.
Erected 1998 by City of Ontario, California. (Marker Number 24.)
