1. Old Town Hall Marker
Originally built with volunteer labor, this building features a classic false facade. False front buildings, an architectural element mostly used for commercial purposes, gave an air of dignity to a quickly growing town by providing visual continuity along the street.
This building served as Frisco's Town Hall and Community Center, hosting events including square dances, ballroom dancing and monthly pot luck dinners. Town Trustees and staff used this building until 1982, until a New Town Hall was constructed on 1st and Main Street, currently still operating at this location.
Still owned by the Town of Frisco, the Old Town Hall building underwent modern renovations and is presently used as the Visitor Information Center.
