1. Historic Wagon Factory Building Marker
Built-1872
Rushford Wagon and Carriage Co., started in 1860 by John Albertson, built wagons, carriages and sleighs until 1939. Other early business owners were John Nelson, Ole Laugen, H.W. Holmes, A.J. Stevens, and Michael, Philip and Peter Miller.
Renovation as Carriage House completed in July, 1990 by Gerald E. Mundt and Brian D. Dahl, dba Golden Valley Developers.
Building dedicated in memory of Donald Eiken Dahl, 1934-1989, descendant of early Rushford area settlers, and father of Brian, Debra, Steven and Nacia Dahl.
