1. Washington County Bank of Fort Calhoun Marker

Inscription. Originally the home of the Washington County Bank of Fort Calhoun, this structure was built by Henry Rix in 1905. The bank was on the lower level of the building, while offices occupied the top level. Owned and occupied by the Solomon Lodge Number 10, since 1934, it is the oldest Masonic Lodge in the county, established by early pioneers in 1866. Over the years, many different tenants have occupied the main level, including the bank, post office and insurance companies.
