The Floral Park Fire Department has been serving our neighbors with pride since 1893. The membership is 100% Volunteer, comprised of men and women who dedicate their time to serve the community. The Department consists of five companies which occupy 3 firehouses. The Hook and Ladder Company,

The marker is located next to the door of the Fire Department. The marker was moved from the door frame after 2023.
Alert Engine Company and The Rescue Company are stationed at headquarters on Vernon Blvd. The Active Engine Company is located on Atlantic Ave and The Reliance Engine Company is located on Holland Ave.

A small plaza includes a statue of a fire fighter and a memorial wall of former volunteers, on behalf of the Firemen's Benevolent Association.

The Fire Department is located in the same building as Floral Park Village Hall. A September 11th Memorial is also located in front of the Fire Department.
