The UH-1 Iroquois or "Huey," is a Vietnam-vintage multipurpose helicopter that was phased out by the introduction of the UH-60 Blackhawk. The version on display, the UH-1H, was deployed to Southwest Asia. Primary missions include general support, air assault, cargo transport, aeromedical evacuation, search and rescue, and electronic warfare.
The aircraft on display came to Defense Supply Center Richmond from the U.S. Army's Fort Eustis, Virginia.
