Regarding DuPage Co. State Bank / Glen Ellyn Township High School 1916-1923. Glen Ellyn High School occupied the second story of this bank building when it had its first classes in 1916; a third story was later added to accommodate a growing student body. In 1923, Glenbard West High School, which included residents of neighboring Lombard, opened in a new building about a half-mile east of here.
