Inscription. Virginia Hamilton Boyle
Born June 12, 1896, one of six children of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Hamilton, who came to Old Greer County in the early 1900s. Virginia married P.J. Boyle in 1919, and to this union was bora P.J. 3rd. Mrs. Boyle was a charter member and first president of the business, and professional Women's Club, past Matron of Eastern Star. Twice president of the Mangum High School Alumni Association, president of the Cecilian Music Club, president of the American Legion Auxillary and was active in all affairs of the First Methodist Church. She was president of the Old Greer County Pioneers, and during the forming and organization of the Old Greer County Museum and Hall of Fame, Inc. She passed away May 27, 1973.

James Alexander Stout
Born Oct. 26, 1878, Collin Co. Texas. Son of Thomas B. and Mary J. Stout came to Greer Co., Texas in 1898 and homesteaded quarter section 5 miles west of Brinkman. Built a 2 room dugout with rock from Hay Stack Mt. and raised one crop before he went to Wise Co., Texas and married Lenora B. Lemaster on Sept 28, 1899. To this union was born Ella, Jewell, Archie, Lenora, Versie, Ernest, Foy, Eldon, Dorene and Arlyette. Charter member of East View Church of Christ, McKissich School Board Member (known as East View, 1920). County Road overseer 10 yrs, Chairman Greer County Fair Asst. 2 yrs, Deputy Sheriff almost 45 yrs. Appointed Deputy U.S. Marshall in July 1923. On Board of Directors Elk City's Community Hospital 9 years. Helped organize community hospitals for Mangum and Roosevelt. Served as Republican State committeeman. Died August 24, 1964.
