Inscription. Hugh Patrick Vaughan
Born Oct. 4, 1879 in McClellan Co., Tx. The youngest of ten children born to Jane and Patrick Vaughan. At the age of eleven, he moved to Old Greer County, Tx. where he grew to manhood. He loved to work with livestock. Broke horses to ride and drove cattle across prairies to market in Kansas City, KS. In 1912, he married Miss Lillie Ketchum. To this union were born six children. From 1920 to 1931, he worked in the oil fields of West and East Texas, from there he moved back to western Okla. where he raised cattle and farmed. The last twenty-two years he spent in and around Okla. City. Hugh was a Christian, and believed that a man's word should be as good as his bond. He leaves a legacy of honesty and hard work. He died on Nov. 12, 1968, at the age of 89 years. He is buried in the Blair Cemetery, Blair, Ok.

Dora Alma Radney
Born in 1880 in Wadley, Alabama. She was one of nine children. She and Warren J. Radney were married in 1903. In 1906 she traveled by train with their young son to Ok. to join her husband & settled one half mile west of Hester. It was frightening for her to be in a strange part of the country and far from her family, but she adjusted well. She and her husband lived in a three-room house for the next seventeеn years. She gave birth to seven more children 5 sons and 2 daughters. Two sons died at an early age. She was a talented seamstress and a good cook. She was a member of the Methodist church and often helped with the church socials. She loved to sing & play her piano. Her health began to fall in 1925. She died in 1927. Her living descendents as of 1988 are 3 children, 8 grand-children, 16 great-grand-children and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
