Elmer Haug
1896-1924
At the time of the Milford Mine disaster, miner Elmer Haug was 27 years old. He was born in Ada, Minnesota. He married Alice Peterson and they had one child, a girl. When she lost her husband, Alice was 22 years old and their daughter was 14 months. Elmer was laid to rest in Greenbush, Minnesota. Alice moved with her infant daughter to Greenbush, to live with family members.

John E. Hendrickson
1878?-1924
John Hendrickson was reported to have been about 46 years old when he lost his life in the flooding of the Milford Mine. Available records do not indicate his birth date. He was born in Finland. John married Susanna Peuna and had two children, a boy and a girl. The Hendrickson family lived in the town of Manganese, near the Milford Mine. Susanna was 35 years old at the time of the Milford Mine disaster. Their children were 12 and 8 years old. John Hendrickson was laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.

John Hlacher
1877-1924
John Hlacher was born in Austria and was 46 years old at the time of the Milford Mine disaster. John married Frances Cesark and they had three daughters.

At the time of John's death he and Frances were divorced, and he had been living in Crosby. Their daughters were 21, 18 and 15 years old. John was laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.

George Hocevar
1887-1924
George Hocevar was born in Austria and had worked as a miner on the Cuyuna range for several years. he and his wife Annie lived in Crosby with their five girls. George was 36 years old when he lost his life in the Milford Mine flood. Annie Hocevar was 29. Their daughters were 9, 7, 6, 4 and 1. George's funeral was arranged by the Austrian Society, of which he was a member. he was laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.
